"Media" used to mean "print media" like books and newspapers, but the world has grown. Today media can also mean radio, television and movies delivered to personal computers, tablets and cell phones. As the world's best selling book of all time the Bible continues to make headlines, both good and bad, across all forms of media. Britain wants to add atheism to their religions class, an atheist in Australia turns to Jesus and the rumors may be true after all that China wants to edit the Bible to make it conform to their Communist ideology.

The British have decided it's time to update their public education classes on world religions to, oddly, include atheism. Maybe that's why they also decided to change the name of the course from "Religious Education" to "Religions and Worldviews". Not exactly breaking news, I know, unless they should decide to use James Sire's The Universe Next Door as their text book. If so, it would be the first time public education actually made an improvement in a course.

I wonder if this new worldview class will also include the number of atheists who turn to Jesus before they die? We've reported a couple of those here and here's another: Former Governor-General Bill Hayden was a well-known atheist his entire life. After being hospitalized with a stroke, Hayden stated that the stroke convinced him there was “more to life than just me.” That realization, coupled with having observed Christians exhibit several acts of selflessness convinced him of the truth of the Gospel message. He was baptized September 9, 2018 and made this statement: “This took too long, and now I am going to be devoted. From this day forward, I’m going to vouch for God.” Welcome to the family of God, Governor-General.

Regular readers will recall we reported on a story that the Chinese government wanted to rewrite the Bible to "communize" it, but that we couldn't verify that the story was real. The story keeps resurfacing but this time there is an actual name attached to it. China-Aid founder Reverend Bob Fu warned the US Congress of China's intention to "sincize" Christianity across the country. According to sources, the communist government has a five-year plan to fashion a form of Christianity that merges well with socialism. To the Chinese government I would issue a very real warning: God will not take lightly your attempt to "edit" His Word. Does Noah's flood, Babylon, Sodom and Gomorrah, the Canaanites, the Philistines ring any bells? I'm just saying...
