"Media" used to mean "print media" like books and newspapers, but the world has grown. Today media can also mean radio, television and movies delivered to personal computers, tablets and cell phones. As the world's best selling book of all time the Bible continues to make headlines, both good and bad, across all forms of media. Quebec tries to tell government employees to to stop wearing religious symbols to work, Bring Your Bible to School day happened, the Sudan releases Bibles wrongfully held in port Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are turning toward God, and many Christians have really bad theology.

Quebec, Canada — The new administration is trying to pass legislation that would prohibit government employees from wearing religious names or symbols while on the job. This include judges, prosecutors, police and emergency responders as well as teachers and others. A single violation will result in losing employment. The reason the government gives for this new rule is to establish the secularity of the state. This reason begs a reasonable question, however: does such a rule imply that government employees ar actually slaves? A teacher, for example, may be employed by the state but is still an individual with faith-based beliefs. By forbidding a teacher from wearing, say, a cross necklace denies the individuals right for the sake of the governments "image". Some politicians are already challenging the nation based of religious liberty laws. We'll let you know if it passes.

Duck Dynasty reality TV star Sadie Robertson working with Focus on the Family to promote a "Bring Your Bible to School Day" to promote religious liberty. The event took place on October 4th, and we at Think-Biblically.com apologize for not bringing this news to you sooner but we heard about it after the fact. We support this idea, though I confess that my friends and I took our Bible's to school every day and encourage other Christian students in public schools to do the same.

Speaking of the Bible, Sudan recently released a shipment of Bible's that have been detained in port, some of them for six years. This release will help overcome the shortage of Arabic-language Bibles in the region.

Actress Jennifer Garner, with Bible in hand, staged an intervention for her soon-to-be ex-husband Ben Affleck. Affleck has struggled with alcoholism for years, something he has been very up front about in interviews, and has decided to turn to God for help in overcoming his addiction. We encourage our readers to pray for the couple and their spiritual lives.

In a newly released survey from Ligonier Ministries, the 2018 State of Theology survey, found that many evangelicals accept as true beliefs the Bible condemns. Out of the 3,000 Christians surveys, 52% responded that people are basically good, contradicting several Bible passages including Romans 3.10 and Jeremiah 17.9. 51% of respondents believe that all faiths lead to God, contradicting John 14.6. An astonishing 78% believed Jesus was created by God, contradicting John 1.1 among other passages that teach the doctrine of the Trinity. It gets more shocking the more one reads. I'm fairly certain no one who reads Think-Biblically.com answered these questions incorrectly. To review the survey yourself, check out the website: https://thestateoftheology.com/

JUST IN: On October 20th witches of the Brooklyn area are gathering to curse\hex Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh as well as rapists and "the patriarchy that emboldens" them. Whatever one's thoughts about Kavanaugh, as Christians we must pray that those who serve darkness fail in their attempts to practice such arts and turn to Jesus.
