"Media" used to mean "print media" like books and newspapers, but the world has grown. Today media can also mean radio, television and movies delivered to personal computers, tablets and cell phones. As the world's best selling book of all time the Bible continues to make headlines, both good and bad, across all forms of media: Alyssa Milano finally says something smart, Mike Pence echoes the sentiments of this site, socialist countries around the world provide ideas for America's Democrat party, and a church gives hope and a salvation message to the people of its fair city.

Alyssa Milano, the actress to jump start a failing career through political commentary, finally said something we at Think-Biblically.com agree with, that if one wants to avoid becoming pregnant there is no better way than to stop having sex. While that nugget was clearly in her statement, unfortunately it wasn't really her point. Even so, the #SexStrike could easily be taken over by those with biblical values, with abstinence and celibacy being godly choices for singles.

Meanwhile, Vice-President Mike Pence echoes Think-Biblically when he warned students at Liberty University's graduation of coming attacks on the Christian faith stating, “You’re going to be asked to bow down to the idols of the popular culture." He also noted that modern culture finds it “acceptable and even fashionable to ridicule and discriminate against people of faith.” Forewarned is fore armed.

Where will the ideas for attacks on Christianity come from? Largely from socialist and communist countries. Watch for these trends to come to America in the next 18 months:

There is more, of course, and it's all coming here soon.

In the real world, a Kasas City church paid off $2.2 million dollars worth of medical debt for people in its community. The debtors were notified by a letter that read in part: “We’re Pathway Church. We may never meet you. But in an act of kindness in the name of Jesus Christ, your debt has been forgiven.” That is changing lives in a very biblical fashion. Jesus is the answer to the world's propblems, but because the world is invested in saving itself (an impossible task) it must tear down the one thing that can truly do the job: God's image on earth.
