Al Hudaybiyah large

So far we have learned that Islam is more than a personal religion of war and hatred as taught in the Quran, it also has a social side that governs society called the Hadith. It is therefore a marriage of religion and politics, creating a totalitarian state lead by Jihadists and obeyed by the masses. This means that Islam is not only a religion to be overcome by Jesus, but a form of government that can be responded to by other governments around the globe.

In our day, Iran is the closest nation that can be described as an Islamic state. Sharia is law of the land, and Islam the only legal religion of the people. If you are of a faith other than Islam, you cannot attempt to win anyone over or to openly discuss your faith with others. This is a nation that continues to execute people based on the Quran’s laws, including punishing some through stoning. If you are an adulterer, a dishonorable wife, or a homosexual you can be executed by the state. Iran’s leader, Ahmadinejad. Is a true believer and knows his history well, especially the historic treaty of Al-Hudaybiyah.

Muhammad had his sites set on conquering Mecca for years, so in 628 AD he lead his army of 1,400 and camped nearby at Al-Hudaybiyah. The Meccans had a more formidable army than Muhammad but possessed no desire for war. So they sent an entourage to negotiate a peace treaty that would suspend hostilities between the two peoples for 10 years. Muhammad had no intention of keeping the treaty, but needed a time of peace with Mecca to build his army. Two years later the army was sufficiently large enough to take Mecca, and they marched on and won the region easily.

If Muhammad used such deceit and treachery in his negotiations with foreign powers, how much more would Ahmadinejad? You may think this is too harsh, that times have changed. The Quran, however, has not changed. This book is believed to be the only untainted version of God’s full and final revelation to humanity. Therefore, any law or negotiation or contract or agreement is binding or to be respected.

Consider America’s current negotiations with Iran. Barak Obama is currently negotiating a 10 year peace treaty with Iran over their nuclear program. These negotiations, if they result in a formal agreement, will become another Islamic victory in time for the Iranians will continue to enrich enough weapons-grade material to create nuclear weapons of mass destruction to be used on the Infidel.

Some argue that even if Iran does obtain nuclear weapons, they wouldn’t use them for the same reason Russia and America never used them against each other: mutually assured destruction. But Iran is not Russia; it holds to Sharia law and the teachings of the Quran which hold death in battle with the infidel to be the highest honor. Consider a few passages from the Quran to understand how pervasive the hatred is for unbelievers:

Your Lord inspired the angels with the message: “I am with you. Give firmness to the Believers. I will terrorize the unbelievers. Therefore smite them on their necks and every joint and incapacitate them. Strike off their heads and cut off each of their fingers and toes.” (8:12)

So fight them until there is no more Fitnah and all submit to the religion of Allah alone (8.39)

The infidels should not think that they can get away from us. Prepare against them whatever arms and weaponry you can muster so that you may terrorize them. They are your enemy and Allah’s enemy. (8.59)

“O Prophet, urge the faithful to fight, if there are 20 among you with determination they will vanquish 200; if there are a hundred they will slaughter a thousand unbelievers, for the infidels are a people devoid of understanding. (8:65)

Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war. (9.5)

When you clash with the unbelieving infidels in battle, smite their necks until you overpower them, killing and wounding many of them. At length, when you have thoroughly subdued them, bind them firmly, making captives. Thereafter either generosity or ransom until the war lays down its burdens. Thus are you commanded by Allah to continue carrying out Jihad against the unbelieving infidels until they submit to Islam. (47:4)

This is why Benjamin Netanyahu made an appeal to the US Congress to not enter into any agreement with Iran, for there will come a time when that agreement will have led to the mass slaughter of thousands, perhaps millions of people. To resist war when one has the upper hand to enable the enemy to grow in strength is the height of foolishness, as the Meccans learned. But what is a peace-loving society to do when presented with such barbaric hatred? Hopefully we’ll find some answers in the days to come.
