While we may charitably disagree on other issues, all our contributors have agreed to hold these truths in common.

1. WE BELIEVE the Scriptures (both Old and New Testaments) to be the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings; to be the complete disclosure of His will for the salvation of humanity; and is the final authority for Christian faith and life. (2 Timothy 3.16-.17; 2 Peter 1.20-.21; Psalm 19.7; Matthew 5.18)

2. WE BELIEVE in one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6.4; Genesis 1.1-.2 and 1.26; Matthew 3.16-.17 and 28.19; John 10.30; 1 Corinthians 8.4-.6; 2 Corinthians 13.14)

3 .WE BELIEVE Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He died on a cross, rose bodily from death, ascended into heaven, and is our high priest and advocate at God’s right hand. (Isaiah 7.14; Luke 1.31-.35; Romans 8.34; 1 Corinthians 15.1-.4; Ephesians 1.20; Philippians 2.5-.11; Colossians 3.1; Hebrews 4.14-.16 and 8.1-.2; 1 Peter 1.3-.5; 1 Timothy 3.16; 1 John 2.1-.2)

4. WE BELIEVE the Holy Spirit brings glory to Jesus Christ; convicts humanity; guides, instructs, empowers, indwells, and gives new life to the “Christ-follower” (those who are trusting Jesus alone for both this life and the one to come). (John 14.26-.27, 15.26 and 16.7-.15; Romans 8.9-.27; 1 Corinthians 6.19 and 12.12-.14; Ephesians 1.13-.14;Titus 3.5)

5. WE BELIEVE man was created in the image of God, but sinned by willfully disobeying God and is therefore deserving of judgment and everlasting punishment. (Genesis 1.26-.28, 3.1-.23; Romans 15.12-.21)

6. WE BELIEVE the bodily death and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ provide the only basis for the Christ-follower to be declared blameless and pardoned from judgment and everlasting punishment.  (Acts 2.21-.39; Romans 10.9-.13; 1 Corinthians 15.20-.28; Ephesians 2.1-.10)

7. WE BELIEVE the Lord’s Supper and water baptism are practices to be observed by the church during this present age, but are not a basis for salvation. (Matthew 3.16, 26.17-.30, 28.19; Acts 2.38, 8.12-.13, 22.16; Romans 6.1-.10; 1 Corinthians 11.17-.24; 1 Peter 3.21; Hebrews 6.1-.2)

8. WE BELIEVE in the personal, bodily, and imminent coming of the Lord Jesus Christ; that His coming precedes the establishing of His earthly kingdom; and that this truth has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of Christ-followers. (Matthew 24.30-.44; 1 Corinthians 15.20-.28, Revelation 19.11-20.6)

9. WE BELIEVE in the bodily resurrection of the dead, of the Christ-follower to everlasting life with the Lord, of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment. (Luke 16.19-.31; Romans 6.3-.5; 1 Corinthians 15.20-.28; Revelation 20.11-.15)
